Crafter ‘workshop on wheels’ cuts van downtime and costs
Vans off the road can cost your fleet more than £600 a day.
Our sister brand, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, has a solution: by bringing the service to your vehicles, work can be completed in a cost-effective and efficient way, saving your business’s valuable time and money.
The first of a new fleet of ‘workshops on wheels’ hit the road in November, as part of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ preparation for the launch of the new Crafter in April 2017.
There will be 10 more Mobile Service Clinic vans by the end of Q1 2017, with the aim of nationwide coverage by the end of 2017.
Ray Tallis, Maintenance Services Manager for Volkswagen Financial Services | Fleet, said: “This new mobile fleet will minimise downtime and is an example of our customer service focus. It gives fleet customers peace of mind that the vehicles are being looked after quickly and to manufacturer specifications.”
